Hannah and Heath got married Memorial Day Weekend 2013 in Norman, Oklahoma! I can tell you from experience that this couple is definitely one of a kind! She loves pink and all things princess, he loves being outdoors and building things! So we asked Hannah to share one regret and one recommendation to all our lovely Wedding Wednesday readers and here is what she said:
Recommendation:
Don’t stress out about all the things you “have to do” at the reception (i.e. cutting the cake, first dance, bouquet toss, etc)! I felt that I kept having to keep track of time to make sure that all the items were done correctly and it really hindered my experience with my guests! Instead, put something in charge that you can trust and have them get everything ready. They can help with getting your family members lined up for pictures after the ceremony, getting the guests ready for each “reception to do” and also make sure that you stay on the timeline without creating stress for you. That way you can enjoy your guests, the beautiful venue, the decor, and the man of your dreams!
Regret:
I regret using sprinkles as the grand exit confetti. It hurt REALLY BADLY, was very difficult to get our of our hair, and the color smeared into our clothes and the getaway car! Good in theory, but didn’t work as planned! I totally wish that whoever created that pin on Pinterest would have tried it before pinning it!
