Catie is a bit of a romantic; you could say Will is not, so I thoroughly enjoyed watching Will step outside his comfort zone for Catie. He wanted his marriage proposal to be nothing less than a true love story. He did it all for her. I am still impressed…
Will took Catie on a boat ride off the shores of Cornado Island for their “anniversary.” Catie walked onto the small boat to find a beautiful dinner set up for two, including some of her favorite things: a Mexican themed menu, daisies, Pinot Gris, mini chocolate desserts, “their” songs playing on the speakers, etc.
Will and Catie spent the evening enjoying their private, delicious dinner in the middle of the ocean. Seriously, all they needed was some dolphins flipping around and it would be Disney movie perfect. The sun was setting so it was time to draw in the anchor and head back to shore. While Will packed up the food, he kindly asked Catie if she would bring in the anchor. When see drew it in, she was surprised and confused to find a message in a rustic bottle attached to the anchor.
“Will, there is a bottle attached. What is a bottle doing on our anchor?” Will told her to look inside and see whom it was from. That is when she realized the message was a hand written love letter to her. When she finished reading the letter, Will was already on his knee holding out her gorgeous engagement ring!
If Will could be a romantic for a day, so can you guys! Thank you Will and Catie for allowing us to be apart of your special day. Have so much fun planning the wedding!
Love,
