Progressive Dinner Date
Category: Night On The Town
What You’ll Need:
Reservations at his/her top 3 favorite restaurants, a new tie or bouquet of flowers, 3 printed photos, and a pen to write your favorite 3 memories.
Prep and Plan It:
1. Prior to date night, ask your sweetie what his/her favorite food items are from different local restaurants.
2. Send flowers or a new tie to his or her work or home inviting them to a date that night.
3. When you pick him/her up don’t tell them the entire plan. Start by grabbing drinks and appetizers at their favorite place for that course! At each stop you can enjoy reminiscing past favorite moments together. During appetizers, hand her/him a printed photo from one of your favorite memories. On the back, write a sentence or two of why it’s on of your favorites.
4. After you’ve finished your appetizers, grab the check and head to your loved one’s favorite entree restaurant! During entrees, hand her/him another photo and favorite memory.
5. Last stop, his/her favorite dessert location! Grab something sweet and a nightcap to finish off the romantic evening. Finish off the evening with one last photo of your most recent favorite memory.
6. Bonus Gift: Print your personalized menu before you leave and give to him/her a restaurant so they know whats in store. If you are willing to pay a little extra for this date to make it ultra unique, reserve a private room for each course with the meal item already waiting for you upon arrival!

“Random” 3 Item Date
Category: Mix It Up
What You’ll Need:
One person to choose 3 categories (see below), order speciality items from category (i.e.: blue picnic blanket in example below), list of locations you’ll visit, and a camera.
Prep and Plan It:
1. Before the date, pick 3 completely random items that you’ll incorporate into your date (you can pick a random color / number / letter / kid’s toy / food item / local park – ANYTHING). See Step 6 below for a date example.
2. Get together with your loved one at a local coffee shop or dessert place and brainstorm fun ways to incorporate all 3 items together into a date. If you can’t get together for a pre-date brainstorming session, then one of you can choose the three categories this time and surprise the other.
3. Once you’ve decided on the perfect “random date” then put it on the calendar! Any specialty items you want to buy for the date you can typically have shipped promptly with Amazon. The item(s) will be a great memento gift from your date too.
4. Make sure that the day of you take lots of pictures to capture the fun experience!
5. Bonus Gift: You can order a small photo book online from Shutterfly. You have the option for them to insert all the photos and format the pages. It’s quick for you but an extra special surprise for him/her later!
6. Having trouble coming up with 3 random items? Try this! Make a date around the number 3, the letter “R”, and the color Blue. Your date could entail visiting 3 of your favorite paintings at a local museum followed by Rollerskating/Riding bikes to your favorite park, where you eat a lunch on a Blue blanket.

This date can be as budget-friendly or extravagant as you desire. Costs depend on location(s) and activities selected. Ie: Baseball game tickets verse a free public museum.
BYOB Painting Class
Category: Artistic Dates
What You’ll Need:
Reservations at local painting class, 3 wine bottles, 3 wine bottle bags, and 3 note cards for clues.
Prep and Plan It:
1. You see these BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) Painting Classes on Groupons all the time, so for an added bonus this one can be really budget-friendly too! If you don’t see a Groupon you can just Google BYOB class in your area.
2. Before leaving home, play a little game. Open up three of his/her favorite styles of wine, cover the bottles with a wine bag or tissue paper (available at grocery stores and Bev Mo), and ask them to guess what kind it is (Pinot Noir, Chardonnary, Sanvgiose, etc).
3. As s/he guesses each one correctly, you can hand him/her one clue to what you’ll be doing that evening (totaling 3 clues that spell out: 1. BYOB 2. Painting 3. Class).
4. Grab whichever bottle was his/her favorite and head to your local class! You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy painting and drinking wine together.
5. Bonus Tip: If you check out the website before hand, you might be able to see what you’ll learn to paint (for example, the class might be painting your city skyline on Friday night, but on Saturday they are featuring a mountain scene).

Pinterest Recipe Picnic
Category: Staying In
What You’ll Need:
Access to recipe(s) on Pinterest, ingredients for meal, blankets/pillows/favorite movie from home, candles, and background music.
Prep and Plan It:
1. There are thousands of recipes online… literally THOUSANDS! So find one that you both would like and make a date of staying in!
2. While you’re working one day, text him/her and tell them it’s date night but don’t give any of the details! Then on your way home grab all the ingredients you’ll need for the recipe.
3. In your living room set up a picnic style dinner from items in your house such as a blanket, pillows, candles, favorite movie snacks, and your a movie/tv show to watch after you finish making dinner together.
4. When your loved one arrives home hand him/her a glass of wine and put on some music before you start cooking!
5. You can help each other and delegate who does what (for example, I hate chopping but my guy doesn’t so he always does that for me)!
6. Even if it turns out to be a terrible meal, you will have a fun memory of being together and a picnicking in your living room rather than just eating at the table or on the couch.
