When you book a Yes Local experience you will receive a curated wine menu by a sommelier who hand selects each bottle based upon individual palates; Interactive tasting guiding your guests on how to intentionally pair wine with food and select great values from various regions; A beautiful handcrafted experience with a custom-made bar cart engaging all five senses; Luxury event specialists working exclusively on decor, menu, and ambience for your private gathering of 2-6 people. Alcohol is purchased separately by host per state laws.

We have three packages to cater to every preference. Each package includes a custom bar cart rental and aesthetics for the cart. The date night and intimate gathering packages are more custom designed but with any package, add-ons are available to accommodate the vision. The experience is typically 2-3 hours.

YES Local combines the female expertise of San Clemente natives Heather Vaughn and Kristen Muir. Heather Vaughn is the Founder and CEO of the world’s first marriage proposal planning company. Heather has over 12 years experience running her company that specializes in custom romantic events. Aesthetics, ambience, the vibe of luxury are second nature to her. Kristen has over 10 years experience in the wine industry. She is a certified expert, has worked for an importer and a family owned Napa Valley winery. She has traveled extensively to wine regions all over the world.

YES Local is a curated wine and food experience delivered by Heather and Kristen while supporting local vendors and small businesses in Orange County. Typically, the experience runs anywhere from 2-3 hours. Heather handles the ambience and aesthetics while Kristen walks the guests through an interactive food and wine pairing experience.

We are able to pour and educate for private experiences; however, we do not have a liquor license. Due to CA state laws, wine will need to be purchased from and provided by a licensed retailer separate of the YES Local package. Don’t worry, we facilitate this process by recommending wines based on individual palates. We work closely with a local wine shop that supports small family owned wineries of amazing quality. Depending on the venue, it is the responsibility of the client to receive proper permits from the ABC.

Areas: Within 25 miles of San Clemente or mileage invoiced separately beyond that distance. We have private venues rentals that are available to book for your Yes Local Experience. For residential backyards, we will set up our beautiful wine cart so we ask for a clear pathway of a 5 ft wide clearance to accommodate the transportation and set up.

Set Up: Private locations not accessible to the public. For example, but not limited to, residential backyards, vacation rental patios, rented space at hotels, or permitted scenic locations. Inquire with us as we have a list of private scenic locations we work with.

We ask for a minimum of two weeks but we are happy to check the calendar for any last minute openings. Summer and weekends book up quickly, inquire here (link).

Date Night is for 2-4 people, Intimate Gathering includes 5-8 people, or Bar Cart rental only option is available for any group size (small to large parties). Additional guests can be added to our Intimate Gathering package for add’l charge.

Refunds are not offered, but we can change your reservation time if we have availability within 7 business days notice. After that, a 20% rescheduling fee to move the reservation will apply.

Although rare in beautiful Orange County, if it looks like bad weather may affect your reservation, we will contact you in advance of your event to discuss your options. Most venues offered through Yes Local have indoor and covered options available. We ask that indoor options (only as a back-up) to be available if using a residential location.

We’ve partnered with a local independent restaurant focused on high quality ingredients crafted to be paired with wine. You can keep it simple with grazing boards of charcuterie and cheese, layer in appetizers, and/or make it a full meal. Our sommelier will recommend wines based on your menu choices.

We carry general liability insurance and provide upon request. The Client is responsible to obtain ABC license permit if applicable. If you have a special spot in mind, we’ll let you know if you need a permit and are happy to assist with that process.
