Looking for an event planning/marriage proposal planning intern during the high proposal season (December 2011- February 2012). This may be extended. Internship hours will vary depending on proposals booked. This is a per job basis so hours can be flexible. Majority of proposals take place during nights (after work day) or weekends and typically require 2 hours of on-site coordination from start to finish. Internship may include day-of proposal coordination, proposal set up and take down, handling shipments, working alongside vendors such as photographers, florists, rental companies, etc. and even DIY projects. This is a hands on event planning experience that we know one NYC native won’t want to miss!
