Terms and Conditions for Proposal, Re-Proposal, and Anniversary Services:
All event contract cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations of these arrangements will incur the penalties stated.
At the time of purchase, a flat rate payment of $499 is due for proposal ideas (deliverables) , Re-Proposal Ideas, or Anniversary Ideas. As customers receive immediate access to our proposal/event questionnaire, customers are only eligible for a 50% refund within 30 calendar days of the purchase. Eligible refunds will only be processed before the questionnaire is submitted and before custom proposal ideas are started and/or sent by TYG (delivered). Questionnaires are to be completed within 30 days of booking.
Curated Proposal Ideas bookings will receive access to our vendor library; clients are responsible for contacting and booking vendors directly. While we recommend these vendors, they are separate companies, therefore Curated Proposal Ideas clients should communicate with these vendors directly to check their availability, review pricing and their contracts directly. Please note for Styled Proposals and Custom Proposal bookings, failure to confirm your proposal date with The Yes Girls availability does not qualify for a refund.
If a client chooses to upgrade to our event planning services, in the event of a cancellation after the contract is signed, a non-refundable 50 percent payment of The Yes Girls planning fee will apply according to the amount stated in the contract for the hours/services rendered. Seven business days prior to your event a non-refundable, full payment is due. However, should cancellation occur within 3 weeks or less of the event date, full payment will be required. Full cancellation schedule is listed in our event planning contract.
Please note clients who book Curated Proposal Ideas Package are given the ideas to plan themselves or to be planned by The Yes Girls – if the client chooses to upgrade. Although the custom ideas are for and created around the client, the client agrees not to take the custom proposal ideas to another event planner or competitor to have executed. The documents and ideas provided are the intellectual property of The Yes Girls and confidential.
Terms and Conditions of ALL Event Services:
a) The Yes Girls Events’ fee does not include any vendor fees and reflects only the total for coordination and supervision services provided by The Yes Girls. All supplies, products, and services provided by any vendor are invoiced separately.
b) You are responsible for compliance with each vendor contract and its individual policies as stated by the vendor, including air, ground and hotel policies. Further, while The Yes Girls Events takes great pride in personally selecting our preferred vendors and referring them to you, we shall not assume liability nor shall we be held responsible for vendor costs, vendor errors, your dissatisfaction in their performance and/or product or a vendor’s breach of its contractual obligations to you. We strongly recommend that you review each vendor contract carefully.
c) The Yes Girls Events reserves the right to utilize photos and video footage of your event to add to its event portfolio and share it with future clients. The client agrees to the use by The Yes Girls Events of such photos and video footage. Furthermore, if your event is shared on other websites, media, television, etc. the client agrees to credit The Yes Girls and vendors for their appropriate fields.
d) Although this has NOT happened, in the case that Client’s partner says “no”, all payments to vendors and The Yes Girls will be non-refundable.
e) Cooperation and Communication: Due to the virtual nature of the relationship, the Client understands the importance of communication, especially via e-mail, and agree to respond to questions, requests and communications from The Yes Girls in a timely manner. Any vendors that are not able to be booked due to lack of communication on Client’s end is of no fault to The Yes Girls, and hourly fee will still be owed due to communication and planning time committed to that vendor. The Client understands that The Yes Girls is a business with other clients to serve, and require fair, realistic notice in order to attend to requests and projects. Poor planning or miscommunication on the part of the Client will not constitute an emergency for The Yes Girls. The Client understands that the Wedding/Event Planner may require detailed clarification of events/projects in order to meet expectations and provide the best support and highest quality work.
f) Indemnification:
You hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, us, our shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors and assigns from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including attorney’s fees and costs) of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered (“Losses”) in so far as such Losses or actions with respect thereto are based on: (i) the breach of this Agreement and/or any additional instruction of ours by you and/or any representation or warranty made by you; (ii) any claim related to your site.
g) Miscellaneous
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of California, as applied to agreements made, entered into and performed entirely within the State of California, notwithstanding your actual state of residence or principal business location. Any action relating to this Agreement must be brought in federal or state courts located in Orange County, California and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. You may not assign this Agreement, by operation or law or otherwise, without our prior written consent, any such purported assignment shall be null and void. Subject to such restriction, this Agreement will be binding upon, inure to the benefit of and be enforceable against the parties and their respective successors and assigns. If any provision herein is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions will continue in full force without being impaired or invalidated in any way. Our failure to enforce your strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of our right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provision of this Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding its subject matter, supersedes any other agreements or understandings between them.
Terms and Conditions Proposal Packages:
a) Fees: Reservation deposit of $499 (or stated deposit) is due upon booking. This secures your reservation date with The Yes Girls and this deposit is non-refundable, under the terms and conditions listed above. Clients chosen venue will be placed on a hold (for up to 72 hours) until signed contract is received.
Upon event date approval and deposit, The Yes Girls will provide Client with quote and contract for final review. Once the contract is signed, a non-refundable 50 percent payment for the The Yes Girls planning fee is due. Venue, Vendors and Decor stated in contract are invoiced separately and with Client approval. Any Add Ons/Upgrades will be subject to additional fees and taxes and will be approved by Client before The Yes Girls book that selected Vendor or Add On. The remaining balance of The Yes Girls planning fee is due seven days prior to event date.
b) Vendor Compliance: You are responsible for compliance with each vendor contract and its individual policies as stated by the vendor, including air, ground and hotel policies. All vendor contracts will be paid in full prior to the proposal date. Further, while The Yes Girls Events takes great pride in personally selecting highly reviewed vendors and referring them to you, we shall not assume liability nor shall we be held responsible for vendor costs, vendor errors, your dissatisfaction in their performance and/or product or a vendor’s breach of its contractual obligations to you. We strongly recommend that you review each vendor contract carefully.
c) Cooperation and Communication: Due to the virtual nature of the relationship, the Client understands the importance of communication, especially via e-mail, and agree to respond to questions, requests and communications from The Yes Girls in a timely manner. Any vendors that are not able to be booked due to lack of communication on Client’s end is of no fault to The Yes Girls, and service fee will still be owed due to communication and planning time committed to that vendor. The Client understands that The Yes Girls is a business with other clients to serve, and require fair, realistic notice in order to attend to requests and projects. Poor planning or miscommunication on the part of the Client will not constitute an emergency for The Yes Girls. The Client understands that the Wedding Planner may require detailed clarification of events/projects in order to meet expectations and provide the best support and highest quality work.
d) Services: The Yes Girls will book the vendors listed in the agreement for your marriage proposal referencing our preferred list of vendors and will arrange for all parties (Client and booked vendors stated in contract) to know the time of which the proposal will be taking place.
e) Liability: Should an event occur beyond the control of The Yes Girls, such as an act of God, disaster (fire, flood, and earthquake), civil unrest, employment dispute, or any other emergency making it inadvisable or impossible to hold the event, then The Yes Girls Events shall not be liable for costs or expenses incurred by you, any vendor or any third party.
f) Intellectual Property: Client grants The Yes Girls a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, including commercial use, or modify any Work Products. You agree that We have the right to publicly display the Work Products, including for marketing purposes such as a portfolio. Client agrees to not recreate, redistribute or use any documents, materials, photos or video for individual business purposes (ie. Using materials to create a competitive proposal planning service).
If your event story, photos and/or video is published on any news medium (including but not limited to television, internet, magazine, radio, etc.) client agrees to provide reasonable effort for media to include appropriate vendor credit to The Yes Girls, photographers, and venue (ie: company name and website link).
g) Cancellations and Refunds: All cancellations must be made in writing within 24 hours of the package being booked.
In the event of a cancellation after the contract is signed, a non-refundable 50 percent payment of The Yes Girls planning fee will apply according to the amount stated in the contract for the hours/services rendered. Seven business days prior to your event a non-refundable, full payment is due. However, should cancellation occur within 3 weeks or less of the event date, full payment will be required.
Although this has not happened, in the case that Client’s significant other says no, all payments to vendors and The Yes Girls will be non-refundable. All fees are non-refundable due to a Client’s decision to change event date and rescheduling fees per Client and The Yes Girls contract will apply.
Terms and Conditions The Signature Proposal Packages (The Standard and The Premium):
a) Fees:
Upon selection of your package, a detailed quote will be sent. 50% of The Yes Girls Planning Fee is due upon signing, of which 50% is non-refundable and kept as your deposit. The remaining 50% of your Planning Fee will be due 1 week prior to your event date. Should you have optional add-ons that incurred additional Planning Hour Costs, these costs will be added on your Final Planning Fee Invoice.
The planning fee for The Signature Proposal Package (The Standard or The Premium) will be specified in your contract. Additional vendors will be charged and invoiced separately with the Credit Card Authorization Form on file. In the rare instance that the significant other declines the proposal, all payments to vendors and The Yes Girls are non-refundable.
b) Vendor Compliance:
Clients are responsible for complying with each vendor’s contract and policies, including those related to air travel, ground transport, and lodging. Full payment to vendors must be made prior to the proposal date. While The Yes Girls Events prides itself on selecting and recommending highly-rated vendors, we are not liable for vendor costs, errors, dissatisfaction with vendor performance, or breaches of vendor contractual obligations. We recommend reviewing each vendor’s contract carefully.
c) Cooperation and Communication:
You agree to respond to requests and communications from The Yes Girls promptly to ensure seamless planning.
d) Services:
The Yes Girls will book all vendors listed in the “Elements Covered” section of your quote, which is under the designated Package Planning Fee. If an optional add-on is selected, The Yes Girls team will handle booking and coordination of said vendor with the additional associated cost. Any futher additions outside of your package will automatically result in an upgrade to a package that will cover the coordination of items.
e) Liability:
In the event of an uncontrollable occurrence (e.g., natural disasters, civil unrest, labor disputes, etc.) that makes holding the event inadvisable or impossible, The Yes Girls Events shall not be held liable for any related expenses incurred by you, vendors, or third parties.
f) Intellectual Property:
You grant The Yes Girls a worldwide, non-exclusive, and perpetual license to use and modify any images, videos, or other work products from the event, including for commercial purposes and marketing. We have the right to publicly display work products (e.g., for portfolio or advertising). You agree not to use or recreate any materials from the event for your own business purposes or to create a competing proposal planning service.
If your proposal story, photos, or video is published in any media format (TV, internet, magazine, radio, etc.), you agree to make a reasonable effort to include vendor credit for The Yes Girls, photographers, and venues.
g) Cancellations and Refunds:
Once all vendors within your package have been booked, cancellations cannot be accommodated, and payments are non-refundable. If a cancellation occurs within 24 hours of booking (and vendors have not yet been booked), you may be eligible for a 50% refund of The Yes Girls Planning Fee. Cancellations must be submitted in writing within this 24-hour period. For rescheduling needs, please connect directly with your planner who can assist you futher on rescheduling vendors.
The Yes Girls team is not responsible for any fees that incur from vendors should you choose to reschedule your date.
Terms and Conditions Marriage Proposal Packages:
a) Fees: Reservation deposit of $499 (or stated deposit) is due upon booking. This secures your reservation date and this deposit is non-refundable.
Upon event date approval and deposit, The Yes Girls will provide Client with quote and contract for final review. Upon signing quote and contract, The Yes Girls fee is due in full. The The Yes Girls (Venue and Photography Package) Planning fee is stated in your contract. Additional costs invoiced are separately for venue (hourly rental may vary per venue) and the photographer (coverage depending on the package selected).
Although this has not happened, in the case that Client’s significant other says no, all payments to vendors and The Yes Girls will be non-refundable.
b) Vendor Compliance: You are responsible for compliance with each vendor contract and its individual policies as stated by the vendor, including air, ground and hotel policies. All vendor contracts will be paid in full prior to the proposal date. Further, while The Yes Girls Events takes great pride in personally selecting highly reviewed vendors and referring them to you, we shall not assume liability nor shall we be held responsible for vendor costs, vendor errors, your dissatisfaction in their performance and/or product or a vendor’s breach of its contractual obligations to you. We strongly recommend that you review each vendor contract carefully.
c) Cooperation and Communication: You agree to be cooperative in responding to requests and prompt in returning communications.
d) Services: The Yes Girls will book the venue and photographer for your marriage proposal from our preferred list of vendors and will arrange for all parties to know the time of which the proposal will be taking place. Once contracts have been signed for both Photographer and Venue, The Yes Girls will pass along any contact information to Client. From there, The Yes Girls will not be responsible for the decoration of the venue, weather plans, time changes, etc. If there’s a need to discuss any logistics, Client must communicate directly with Vendors (photographer and venue) to make these changes.
e) Liability: Should an event occur beyond the control of The Yes Girls, such as an act of God, disaster (fire, flood, and earthquake), civil unrest, employment dispute, or any other emergency making it inadvisable or impossible to hold the event, then The Yes Girls Events shall not be liable for costs or expenses incurred by you, any vendor or any third party.
f) Intellectual Property: Client grants The Yes Girls a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, including commercial use, or modify any Work Products. You agree that We have the right to publicly display the Work Products, including for marketing purposes such as a portfolio. Client agrees to not recreate, redistribute or use any documents, materials, photos or video for individual business purposes (ie. Using materials to create a competitive proposal planning service).
If your event story, photos and/or video is published on any news medium (including but not limited to television, internet, magazine, radio, etc.) client agrees to provide reasonable effort for media to include appropriate vendor credit to The Yes Girls, photographers, and venue (ie: company name and website link).
g) Cancellations and Refunds: Once vendors (Photographer and Venue) are booked, The Yes Girls will not be able to accept cancellations and payments are non-refundable. Cancellations that take place within 24 hours of the package being booked (if vendors are not already booked) qualify for a 50% refund of The Yes Girls planning fee. All cancellations must be made in writing within 24 hours of the package being booked. We recommend you work with the venue and photographer directly if you need to reschedule.
Terms and Conditions RUSH Proposal or Special Event Packages:
a) Fees: Reservation deposit of $499 (or stated deposit) is due upon booking. This secures your reservation date and this deposit is non-refundable.
Upon event date approval and deposit, The Yes Girls will provide Client with quote and contract for final review. Upon signing quote and contract, The Yes Girls fee is due in full depending on date timeframe. The The Yes Girls Planning fee is stated in your contract. Additional costs invoiced are separately for venue, vendors, decor, etc.
Rush fees will apply based on the timeframe of your event. The appropriate fee will be added into your quote prior to client approval so all fees are shown.
b) Vendor Compliance: You are responsible for compliance with each vendor contract and its individual policies as stated by the vendor, including air, ground and hotel policies. All vendor contracts will be paid in full prior to the proposal date. Further, while The Yes Girls Events takes great pride in personally selecting highly reviewed vendors and referring them to you, we shall not assume liability nor shall we be held responsible for vendor costs, vendor errors, your dissatisfaction in their performance and/or product or a vendor’s breach of its contractual obligations to you. We strongly recommend that you review each vendor contract carefully.
c) Cooperation and Communication: You agree to be cooperative in responding to requests and prompt in returning communications. On RUSH timelines, it is impertive that we have timely responses to ensure that everything for your event can come to life.
d) Services: The Yes Girls will book any and all agreed upon vendors and venues for your booked package. Please keep in mind there may be additional booking restrictions with RUSH timeframes, (i.e. specialty vendors), therefore we cannot garuntee availability for any specific vendor, but our team always does everything we can to ensure every vendor you are looking for will be present for your big day.
Terms and Conditions of Wedding and Elopement:
a) Fees: Reservation deposit of $499 (or stated deposit) is due upon booking. This secures your reservation date and this deposit is non-refundable.
Upon event date approval and deposit, The Yes Girls will provide Client with quote and contract for final review. Upon signing quote and contract, The Yes Girls will provide event designs. The The Yes Girls Planning fee schedule is stated in your signed quote. Additional costs invoiced are separately for venue, vendors, decor, etc.
Although this has not happened, in the case that Client’s significant other says no or backs out, all payments to vendors and The Yes Girls will be non-refundable.
b) Vendor Compliance: You are responsible for compliance with each vendor contract and its individual policies as stated by the vendor, including air, ground and hotel policies. All vendor contracts will be paid in full prior to the proposal date. Further, while The Yes Girls Events takes great pride in personally selecting highly reviewed vendors and referring them to you, we shall not assume liability nor shall we be held responsible for vendor costs, vendor errors, your dissatisfaction in their performance and/or product or a vendor’s breach of its contractual obligations to you. We strongly recommend that you review each vendor contract carefully.
c) Cooperation and Communication: You agree to be cooperative in responding to requests and prompt in returning communications.
d) Services: The Yes Girls will book all applicable vendors for your elopement or wedding based on your selected package. If additional vendors are requested or required outside of the perameters of your package, additional planning hours will be aquired at $150/hour. The Yes Girls will handle all design, communication, planning, and coordination of your event. The amount of onsite coordinators for your event will be based on the selection of your package.
e) Liability: Should an event occur beyond the control of The Yes Girls, such as an act of God, disaster (fire, flood, and earthquake), civil unrest, employment dispute, or any other emergency making it inadvisable or impossible to hold the event, then The Yes Girls Events shall not be liable for costs or expenses incurred by you, any vendor or any third party.
f) Intellectual Property: Client grants The Yes Girls a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, including commercial use, or modify any Work Products. You agree that We have the right to publicly display the Work Products, including for marketing purposes such as a portfolio. Client agrees to not recreate, redistribute or use any documents, materials, photos or video for individual business purposes (ie. Using materials to create a competitive proposal planning service).
If your event story, photos and/or video is published on any news medium (including but not limited to television, internet, magazine, radio, etc.) client agrees to provide reasonable effort for media to include appropriate vendor credit to The Yes Girls, photographers, and venue (ie: company name and website link).
g) Cancellations and Refunds: Once vendors or venue are booked, The Yes Girls will not be able to accept cancellations and payments are non-refundable. Cancellations that take place within 24 hours of the package being booked (if vendors are not already booked) qualify for a 50% refund of The Yes Girls planning fee. All cancellations must be made in writing within 24 hours of the package being booked. We recommend you work with the venue and photographer directly if you need to reschedule.
Terms and Conditions of Date Nights:
a) Date Night Pass (monthly subscription) will be charged on the same date every month (base on the date you purchased).
b) At the time of purchase, a flat rate payment of $399 is due for custom date night ideas (deliverables). Refunds will only be provided before the date night profile is submitted and custom date night ideas are sent (delivered).
c) Date Night Pass Paid subscription can be canceled at any time via email to [email protected]. Please state the reason for the cancellation. Payments that have been processed prior to cancellation or services rendered (events/date nights already planned) are non-refundable.
Terms and Conditions of Room Decorating Packages:
a) Packages must be booked at least 7 days prior to check-in date at the hotel or otherwise booked and confirmed directly with a TYG planner. Enhancements not available for customers booking the package within 7 days of check-in.
b) In the event of a cancellation after the package is booked, a non-refundable 50 percent payment will apply and the customer must provide cancellation confirmation in writing. If cancellations take place within seven business days or less to your check-in date, the non-refundable, full payment is due. If a customer has to postpone or move the check-in date, The Yes Girls will work with the client to reschedule if the new date is available with Hotel and The Yes Girls.
c) Any personalized decor costs and shipping of those items will be incurred by the client (if materials have already been purchased).
d) The Yes Girls Events reserves the right to utilize photos and video footage of your event to add to its event portfolio and share it with future clients. The client agrees to the use by The Yes Girls Events of such photos and video footage. Furthermore, if your event is shared on other websites, media, television, etc. the client agrees to credit The Yes Girls and vendors for their appropriate fields
Terms and Conditions of Simply Yours and To Be Loved Packages:
a) Fees: Reservation deposit of $499 (or stated deposit, only applicable for SYPP) is due upon booking. This secures your reservation date and this deposit is non-refundable.
Upon event date approval and deposit, The Yes Girls will provide Client with quote and contract for final review. Upon signing quote and contract, The Yes Girls fee is due in full. The The Yes Girls Planning fee is stated in your signed quote. Additional costs invoiced are separately for venue, photographer, etc.
Although this has not happened, in the case that Client’s significant other says no, all payments to vendors and The Yes Girls will be non-refundable.

d) Services: The Yes Girls will book the venue, photographer, and florist for your marriage proposal from our preferred list of vendors and will arrange for all parties to know the time of which the proposal will be taking place. The Yes Girls will handle all design, communication, planning, and coordination of the event. If your event utilizes rentals from The Yes Girls Team please see TYG Rentals Terms and Conditions.
e) Liability: Should an event occur beyond the control of The Yes Girls, such as an act of God, disaster (fire, flood, and earthquake), civil unrest, employment dispute, or any other emergency making it inadvisable or impossible to hold the event, then The Yes Girls Events shall not be liable for costs or expenses incurred by you, any vendor or any third party.

Terms and Conditions of The Yes Girls Rentals:
a) Fees: Reservation of indivdual rental items will be presented in a seperate, itemized quote for the client to review.
b) Rental only no event services: If you are renting out an item and do not have an event contract with The Yes Girls, a 30% deposit will be required to hold the item and your date. The remaining balance will be charged to the client 1 week before the event
c) Definitions: The client must adhere to our Rental agreement and contract upon recieving the quote for Rental items and Services. The following information will be listed in the definitions agreement.
- Rental Company: The Yes Girls, the provider of rental items and services.
- Client: The individual or organization renting equipment or services.
- Rental Items: All items provided by the Rental Company for the event.
- Event: The occasion for which the rental items are being provided.
d) Rental Period: The rental period begins on [Start Date] and ends on [End Date], listed in the Rental Agreement contract. Rental items must be returned by [Return Time] on the end date, listed in the contract. Late returns will incur additional fees.
e) Reservation and Payment: For all TYG contracted clients, (those with proposal or elopement service contracts), no deposit will be taken. The rental cost will be charged in one sum unless specifcally requested by the client. The fee must be paid 1 week prior to the event date. For all non-TYG contracted clients, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental fee is required to secure the rental date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date. Accepted forms of payment: Wire, Zelle, or our platform (Aisle Planner) which will incur 3% processing fee
f) Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations made 30 days before the event will receive a 20% refund (excluding the non-refundable deposit). Cancellations within 29 days or less of the event are non-refundable.
g) Delivery and Setup: The Rental Company will deliver and set up the rental items at the event location on [Delivery Date/Time] mentioned in the client Rental Agreement contract. The Client must ensure that the event space is accessible for delivery and setup at the agreed-upon time. Any additional delivery fees will be discussed and included in the total rental fee (transportation, extra hands, etc.).
h) Use of Rental Items: Rental items are for event purposes only and must not be altered, moved to another location, or used in a way other than intended. The Client is responsible for ensuring that the items are used safely and according to all applicable laws and regulations.
i) Damage or Loss: The Client is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of rental items that occurs during the rental period. A security deposit of 20% of the entire rental contract cost will be held and refunded after the event, provided all items are returned in good condition. The cost of any damages or lost items will be deducted from the security deposit. If damages exceed the deposit, the Client will be responsible for the additional charges.
j) Liability and Indemnification: The Rental Company is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the event due to the use of rental items. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Rental Company from any claims arising out of the event.
k) Weather Policy: The Rental Company is not responsible for weather-related disruptions. In the event of extreme weather, alternative arrangements (such as moving the event indoors) must be made by the Client.
l) Termination: The Rental Company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time if the Client breaches any of the terms and conditions or if the safety of the event is at risk.
m) Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performing their obligations under this agreement if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or government actions.
n) Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of [Your State/Province/Country]. Any disputes arising out of this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Your Location].
o) Agreement: By signing the Rental Contract agreement, the Client agrees to all the terms and conditions listed above. The Rental Conract agreement is binding and cannot be ammended unless an ammendment form is provided by The Yes Girls team.
