Mother Knows Best: Asking the Important Women in Her Life

Have you asked your mother, grandmother or aunts about their dream proposal? Or, those important women in your girlfriend’s life? Asking the women in your life can help get your creative juices flowing with ideas on ways you can propose. They will give you, insight on the do’s and don’ts of proposing. No one knows a woman as much as she knows herself. However, no one understands a woman like other women, especially the ones closest to her.

Listen to the clues your beloved is giving you first. Those are without a doubt the most important. Let’s keep in mind, nine times out of ten she’s not going to tell you exactly how she wants her proposal. Who do you think she will confide in with that information? Her mother, best friend, sister, etc. They have watched her grow up into the woman she is today. You might know many of the things she adores or detests, but they know her favorite book as a child, or that her favorite Disney character is Belle because Belle’s love for books, inspired her to read more. Your future fiancé has memories long before she met you. Memories that can be discovered through the people she created them with. Not only is this a perfect way of getting to know her on a more intimate level, but it’ll help you when adding those personal touches to a proposal.

Your lovely will divulge about her dream proposal and most of the time, it’s because she’s hoping at least one person will tell you her vision for that special day. Why not go the extra mile, and ask them before they tell you? Or invite them to be involved in the proposal itself! After all, family matters most! Women love a man who takes the initiative to ensure that one of the best days of her life, had heart and thought put into it. When that day comes, not only will she be happy you sought out advice from the women she treasures, you’ll also score major brownie points with those very women. It’s a win-win situation!

Great Gatsby Themed Marriage Proposal in Branson, MO

Not only was Braden’s proposal to Katelyn beyond stunning, but it was full of the most romantic details that a girl could ask for! These two love birds met when they were children at Lake of the Ozarks. Their families were friends and just so happened to have neighboring lake houses. So how fitting is it that Braden proposed on a lake vacation with both of their families? While Katelyn thought that they were heading to a family dinner, she was actually walking into her favorite movie (Great Gatsby) brought to life! A giant monogram “gate” opened as she walked in, to reveal Braden standing at the end of an aisle of rose petals and candles. Three tables with three love letters marked his favorite memories of her, along with photos and memorabilia. As they reached the end of the aisle, he had one more love letter for her, leading up to the big question! As she said “YES!” fireworks went off over the lake. TALK ABOUT OVER THE TOP! IRIS ENGAGEMENT RING

The Iris Engagement Ring is a vintage inspired four prong solitaire engagement ring. This timeless design will pair with any wedding band. The ring features a slim band with four sharp prongs to securely hold the stone in place with a delicate look. The shank of the band features three diamonds hand set with a carved “v” accented by hand milgrain on each side of the center diamond. Each ring is custom hand-made to order in 2-3 weeks. ADELA ENGAGEMENT RING

The Adela is an emerald cut engagement ring. The center emerald cut diamond is set “east west”, with straight baguettes on either side. The basket setting holding the center diamond is open which makes the diamond look like its floating over your skin. Each ring is custom hand-made to order in 3-6 weeks. Requested modifications are subject to revised production timelines and pricing. Shown with a 2.10 carat diamond.

COLLET ENGAGEMENT RING

The Collet Engagement Ring is inspired by the classical Georgian collet setting. This setting was typically found on riviere necklaces and was crafted in silver with closed backs. Our Collet ring is made with a mix of platinum and 18K gold. Under the platinum setting there is a handmade crown shape basket, this open design allows light to flow through the diamond and make it appear even brighter. Picnic Date Ideas for the Sunshine in Your Life

Springtime has sprung, the flowers are in full bloom and wedding season is upon us! The days are long filled with sunshine, so go out and enjoy it! If you are struggling with what activities you can do to relish in the sun, a picnic is a perfect way to have a relaxing date. Remind the sunshine of your life how to unwind with a glass of wine and blooming trees all around. Pack up her favorite treats in a basket, take out the blankets from winter storage and head to nearest park. Makes for a very simple yet special day of quality time.

Picnics are fun for everyone! There’s nothing like a wicker basket in hand, sitting on a soft blanket underneath the clear blue sky. Now that’s the gushy romantic movie scene we all happy-sighed over.

If your sweetie adores picnic dates, a picnic-inspired proposal may just be the perfect proposal theme! You can incorporate vibrant florals or soft pastels. Including her favorite color and flower would add a personalized feel. Inside of the basket can be the food you both ate on your first date or all her favorite treats. The possibilities are endless!

Hot Air Balloon Beach Proposal in Carmel, CA

Myriah reached out to us almost a full year ago, knowing that she wanted to make her proposal to Myra as amazing as possible (and let me tell you, it was a moment she will surely never forget!) Myriah created an elaborate ruse, starting with the two of them getting their hair and makeup done the morning of the proposal. When Myriah had to conveniently sneak away for a bit, Myra was left with a private driver to take her to the beach. As she walked into the private, sandy cove, she was greeted by an aisle of string lights and postcards featuring photos of their favorite memories together. At the end of the aisle, 5 stunning hot air balloon figurines covered in blue flowers (her favorite) were waiting, along with Myriah.
