Lindsay and I spent some real quality time creating a do-it-yourself streamers chandelier for Kendall’s bridal shower. Inspired by the glamorous-fashion-vintage side of our friend, we wanted to create an affordable but nothing short of stunning, chandelier for the backdrop of the dessert table. It turned out to be a big hit! With some spray adhesive and pretty paper you can transform your next bridal shower too!

What You’ll Need: Circle cutter, card stock, various wrapping paper, spray adhesive, small hole punch, jump rings, and clear fishing wire. First, start by spraying adhesive to both sides of the card stock and cover with wrapping paper. Choose the design/color of your wrapping paper to coordinate with your shower’s theme.

Using circle cutter, cut out 3-4 inch circles. We found it best to start with a 4 inch circle and gradually shift down in size for your longest strands (we recommend Martha Stewart’s kit). After you cut out your strand of circles, punch a hole at the top and bottom of your circles except for your smallest circle you only need to hole punch the top. Remember you will need a tiny hole punch which you can find at Michaels.

Connect the circles with the silver jump rings to create one long streamer (largest to smallest). Repeat steps using different colors and circle sizes. We had a large window to cover which needed 17 streamers.

When you’re ready to decorate your window, we recommend using clear fishing wire to hang your streamers to give a floating-like appearance. I recommend throwing on a girly movie (it can be time consuming) but I promise it’s well worth the final product! For more details visit Martha Stewart Weddings.

I crave unique touches whether it’s for a bridal shower, engagement party or wedding and this is one you can do yourself! Have fun creating your own window streamers!

Love,
