A Birthday Camp-Out

Ladies know how difficult it can be to find the perfect gift for their man. When birthdays come around it’s always a challenge to find the right gift without emptying your wallet. This year I wanted to surprise Kyle with a backyard camp-out to give his birthday presents in a fun way. He has been eyeing camping gear during our Costco runs, so I knew the first step was finding a tent. I set up the tent and all the goodies in our backyard so when he got home from his mission (that’s what the Air Force calls a few week trip) we could have a camp out in our own backyard and test out all his new toys! That meant the whole enchilada from bbqing to sleeping bags.

The reason for sharing this? One, I was just really excited about this gift but I also thought it would help inspire creative ways to present your birthday gifts! I knew in this case, an experience involving the present was much cooler than opening a box. Thanks to a few other family members, we have a enough items for our first camping trip together!
