Rick and Steph are such a sweet couple. Just listening to him describe her was so endearing. When he told us her favorite gift he’s given her was a snow globe that said “I Love You” inside, the perfect idea just clicked. They planned a weekend away to visit friends so he took that opportunity to propose.
When Steph was busy out shopping with her girlfriends, Rick was blowing up a life-size, inflatable Christmas snow globe; the ones you see on your neighbors front lawns. He cut out the Christmas figures inside the snow globe so he could get inside. Yes, that is right, he was a human snow globe. Rick squeeze inside the globe and his buddy taped the incision right before Steph returned.
When she walked into the room, she stepped into a winter wonderland. It was filled with hundreds of white balloons and candles all centered around Rick, in the snow globe. There he was, on one knee, dressed to the nines, ring in hand, and holding a sign, “I Love You, Will You Marry Me?”
Awww…I just love it. The most important part was that Steph loved it. She immediately burst into happy tears. Rick had his friend hide to capture some photos and of course, quickly undo the tape so Rick could put the beautiful ring on his fiancee’s finger! The rest of the evening was celebrating with their beloved friends. What a proposal!
