Lynn and James have such a unique and fun story. Both of their families immigrated to the United States when they were children (one family from China and one from Korea), and James wanted to highlight that unique journey in his proposal moment. We found a Christmas Tree Farm just outside of Dallas/Fort Worth and James created signs with his proposal speech in both Korean and in Chinese. When the couple came to Texas for the Thanksgiving Holiday (they live in Los Angeles), her parents invited them to cut down a Christmas Tree together and they “stumbled upon” the gorgeous tree we decorated in Lynn’s favorite colors! Add in her favorite drink (hot chocolate with Bailey’s), some personalized ornaments with bible pages (to incorporate their shared faith) and some cozy throw pillows, then voila – you’ve got yourself one thoughtful and memorable Christmas marriage proposal.
