I’m so excited my office is finally starting to come together. Still have some work ahead of me but I thought I would share how I recreated my old desk into a chevron patterned “work” table for all our DIY proposal and wedding projects. I wish I could take the credit but my mom is VERY creative and stirred up the idea. Instead of buying a brand new work table I spent less than $30 total! I just took close up photos (my office still needs some work).

Items Needed For DIY: Glass table, cardboard sheets (or box you can cut), any basic glue, and your preferred fabric.

1. I found the black and white chevron at Joann’s Fabrics.

2. Cut the cardboard to the size of your glass desk.

3. Glue the fabric to the cardboard sheet.

4. Place on the desk and cover with glass sheet. Viola!

If you have any old pieces in your office or home, don’t give up hope because a cute, creative piece is waiting to be born!
