To my surprise, I get quite a few emails asking how I started Simply U Events and Love, The Yes Girls so I thought today was the perfect day to go backstage, and share how it all happened. A few weeks ago, I interviewed with Stephanie May, author of PBS’s Fiscally Fit. She may be young but she has quite a knack for writing and well…being fiscally fit. She asked me everything from how I started Simply U during this economy, what motivated me, the biggest struggle/success, future goals, etc.
I shared my very honest (maybe too honest) answers with her at Fiscally Fit and it’s all there for you to read. My hope is that it inspires those of you considering branching out on your own. No matter where you may be in life, it is refreshing to actually love your job and I love help with marriage proposal ideas. I am truly thankful for my fellow Yes Girls/friends who I get to work with on a daily basis and continue to believe in an optimistic future for Simply U. There is much more for me to learn and plenty of room for growth so the future may have it’s challenges, but I’m hopeful.
Love,
