I am gitty to share this “firework” proposal story. Seriously, fireworks! Jason was such a fun guy to work with and dedicated to creating a romantic proposal that still involved Lacy’s family. Now for their proposal story. Jason and Lacy were headed to her family’s annual wifelball tournament in Cape Cod. After a day of wifelball with her family, Jason and Lacy decided to go out for a relaxing dinner. On there way, they received a phone call from Lacy’s mom, asking if they could make a pit stop by the beach; she “accidentally” left behind her sweater.

Lacy thought she was showing up for a sweater but instead walked into a sea of sparklers and candles lighting the sand! Lacy and Jason met 6 years ago on 4th of July, so to play off their relationship’s first spark was a wooden sign that said, “Sparks flew the day I met you.” In the middle of the sea of sparklers was a hand-built sand screen and projector. Imagine a wall of sand that a projector could play a movie on; photos of her and Jason scrolled across this sand screen! As if it could get any better, it did! There was a turquoise blanket, flowers, cupcakes, etc. to add in a few of her favorite things. After she had a chance to take it all in, Jason cued his helpers. Her family came out from hiding, grabbed some of the lit sparklers and wrote out together (with their sparklers), “Will You Marry Me?” Jason said he was already on one knee, anxious to hear her say “yes!”

After he heard the magic word, he switched out the photo slideshow for Lacy’s favorite romantic comedy, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days and they all watched the movie under the stars! Now that’s a proposal worth bragging about! Congrats again Jason and Lacy!

Love,
