If you’ve had a few anniversaries with your loved one then you may feel like you’re running low on creative date ideas. The holidays are the perfect time to spice up your date nights and spend some quality time together doing holiday-ish activities!

Outdoor Ice Skating

Find an outdoor ice skating rink near you and enjoy the crisp air. End the date cozying up with a warm cup of hot chocolate!

Snow Shoeing

If you live in the snowy mountains or are visiting this season, instead of hitting the slopes one day switch it up and try snow shoeing. You can pack a lunch, hot apple cider, and find a pretty trail to explore. Plus it’s a great work out!

Visit a Local Theater

Ditch the movies one night, and try out the holiday symphony or your church’s Christmas play.

DIY Ornament & Exchange

Buy a plain ornament and decorate it for each other. Use the same materials (glitter, beads, paint, etc) but don’t show each other until you’re both finished! It’s a fun and inexpensive date night. For do-it-yourself ornament samples check out Martha Stewart.

Browse Model Homes

Love walking through model homes and getting new ideas? Try doing it this season while decorated for the holidays. Even if the ideas are for your imaginary dream home, it’s still fun to create and decorate one together.

Christmas Light Shows

Search for the best decorated homes and Christmas lights in your area. Spend the evening driving around looking at lights and listening to your favorite Christmas songs!

Enjoy your dates this December! Feel free to share  any fun holiday date ideas too. We always love hearing from you.

Love,
