Yesterday I went to my first ever hockey game, and let me tell you, it was not at all what I was expecting! I had it set in my head that I was going to be surrounded by sweaty, old men with no teeth, screaming at the players and just waiting for a huge fight to break out on the ice. While yes, the fans did get a little more rowdy when there was a fight, overall it was a much more exciting experience than I expected. And *news*flash* it could even be a fun date night (especially since my ticket was purchased the day of for only $25)! So guys… looking for a non-typical date night? The Yes Girls have the answer- NHL. The atmosphere is perfect for conversation and watching the game all at the same time. Find your local team here and get to the rink!
