Catherine actually suggested us to her boyfriend, Francis; so when he called us he had some pretty big expectations of our work! In his questionnaire, Francis said that he knew he wanted to marry Catherine one night while they sat on a porch swing just talking and watching the sunset. Seriously dreamy moment and we knew it was our perfect inspiration. We had a custom wooden swing created with their wedding monogram and the proposal date, then we laced that with tons of beautiful florals. Additionally, we took all of their dream vacation places and put them on atlas paper airplanes and in a bucket to create a literal “travel bucket list”. To top off the garden, whimsical feeling of the proposal we had three window frames with lyrics to their couple song and a musician playing the song in the background. (Yes, “Die A Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett was stuck in my head for a solid month while we planned this proposal.) After she said yes, Catherine’s family came out and surprised her – I love the picture below when she sees them for the first time :)
