Meghan is the type of girl that gives, gives and gives and expects little in return. Therefore to make her proposal perfect, Jake wanted to pamper her to the tee. That’s exactly what happened and we added in a few extras goodies she loves for icing on the cake.
Meghan arrived at Jake’s house, to find a note on the door inviting her to come inside. Instead of finding Jake, she found a present addressed to her. Inside was a brand new dress and high heels (thanks to her best friend, she found an outfit Meghan would love and be comfortable wearing). In the note, Jake asked her to put on her new dress and go outside. A limo was waiting for her and on the seat cushion she found a book called “Jake and Meghan’s Love Story.” The book was filled with old emails, letters, and photos they had accumulated over their military, long distance relationship.
When she stepped out of the limo (Limo Find), she saw Jake waiting for her. He was dressed to the nines next to a beautiful candlelight dinner, a bouquet of daffodils and two old fashion bottles of coca cola (a few of her favs). Meghan walked along the rose petal and candlelight path until she reached him. Before she sat down, he insisted on taking a picture together with their favorite hometown lake as their backdrop. After they took the photo, he asked her to verify that she liked it so he could add it to the book. She looked at the photo to give her approval, but instead she saw a photo of Jake down on one knee, holding a diamond ring. Apparently, she almost dropped the camera when she screamed in excitement!
