For us living in reality, The Bachelorette’s dates seem to be far fetched. That said, there are always ways to get creative and romantic with whatever budget you have. However, in case you are wondering what the costs would be for a Bachelor/Bachelorette date, I decided why not get an idea of what it would cost and the vendors needed for a date like Des and Brooks’ evening on the bridge. Cha-Ching!

 Intimate dinner and performance on a bridge:

 

  • Private Road/Bridge Blocked: When reserving public roads, cost depends on the city and number of security officers needed to mark off the area. Some permits can be as low as $25 for an hour. However in a place like Los Angeles, to block an entire bridge for 4 + hours, from other permits and events we’ve researched in the past, it had to have been $5000+.
  • Private Dinner: $150+
  • Chanedliers and Market lights: $2000+
  • Private 5 Piece Band for your own dance party: $1500+
  • Generator, Staging and Uplighting: $2500+
  • Floral centerpiece: $150
  • Hurricane candles for ambiance:: $100

 

Ways to make a Bachelorette date cost friendly:

 

  • Get the permit for a park or verse on public roads so you just need to pay the application permit fee (start in advance because they typically require 30 days to process).
  • Chandeliers are the perfect romantic touch. You can find chandeliers for $25 at Ikea or even at online wholesalers.
  • Hire a solo (or duo) guitarist, violinist, or pianist for $300-$500.
