Set against the city skyline, this San Francisco skyline proposal blended modern romance with deeply personal storytelling. Beneath a lush floral arch, Jimmy and Tammy were guided through moments that celebrated their relationship and their shared heritage.
A San Francisco Skyline Proposal on a Rooftop
A San Francisco rooftop offers sweeping views, but the weather can change quickly. For that reason, we designed a setup that felt warm and intimate, even on a misty day.
The Set Up
First, we created a lush floral arch of white and blush blooms, surrounded by pillar candles and rose petals.
Then, we lined the walkway with custom storyboard displays. Each one mixed Chinese and English text to honor their shared memories and cultural heritage.
As a result, the rooftop became an intimate sanctuary above the city.
The Proposal
The couple arrived together under a clear umbrella. Then they walked past each display toward the arch.
Next, he got down on one knee among the candles and petals. She said yes, and the two shared a long hug beneath the florals.
In the end, this San Francisco skyline proposal was timeless and heartfelt, and every detail was designed around their love story.
