Can I just say this last month I have felt totally spoiled by my friends and family! I got to experience my first baby shower (which was a double shower because my Kindergarden best friend has the same EXACT due date!) which was INCREDIBLE and played off the movie Father Of The Bride Part 2. My family then went and surprised me a month later with an adventure and airplane themed baby shower (in honor of my husband and him getting a co-pilot)! Seriously they know me so well it’s ridiculous! I can’t wait to show you all the pics but here are a few highlight pics!
DOUBLE THE FUN BABY SHOWER
Upon arriving, Lydia and I (same due dates ) were welcomed with these amazing chalkboard signs! Since one of our favorite movies is Father Of The Bride (we are pretty much obsessed with Frank) not only was it playing on the tv in the background but they had one of the best quotes from the movie there to greet us! Get out of town!
How amazing is this pinwheel backdrop!? By far one of the best details from the shower and the perfect backdrop for all our photos! Lindsay and Becca really out did themselves with this shower, but then again that’s why they are a part of The Yes Girls team! I was IN LOVE!
AIRPLANE THEMED BABY SHOWER
One of my favorite statement pieces from the shower was the ballon wall and refreshment station. Karley, my mom, mother-in-law, and Gram all participated in putting this together. I was obsessed with the propeller labels and straws that said “ETA 2.9.15” to represent my due date. My crafty future sister-in-law, Karley, from Craft It Out created all those personalized details!
Everything about this was genius! It was the “Check In and Ticketing” station! They asked guests to fill out a boarding pass which included them guessing when baby will “deplane”. Furthermore, they left blank envelopes where guess could write their addresses so it made it SUPER easy for me to send out thank you cards! Talk about a total win!
Can’t wait to share the rest! Stay tuned!
