I have a special place in my heart for this next couple. Mickey first contacted us January 2015 – that’s right over a year before his proposal! ONE WHOLE YEAR! He had already written a song to his girlfriend asking her to marry him, and he wanted to create a unique proposal that incorporated that song somehow. So we began scheming and planning and decided that Napa Valley would be the ideal location for him to pop the question. Mickey had lots of ‘little things’ about Sumer that he loved and wanted to bring in each of these elements into his proposal. He knew he wanted it to be pink and teal, because those are her favorite colors; he knew he wanted there to be lots of bows; he knew he wanted to display the lyrics to the song he wrote somehow; and he knew he wanted her favorite flowers (stargazer lilies and pink tulips) there. So with all those elements put together into individual frames the idea started to take shape! OH, and he wanted to propose ON VALENTINE’S DAY :) This guy knew exactly what he wanted and we were beyond excited to get to execute his proposal.
Mickey sang his sweet heart out with a song he wrote just for Sumer! The lyrics were specifically written on one of the canvas frames so she will have them to look at forever!
SHE SAID YES!
