Today we are in for quite a treat! This video is the most fitting example of why capturing an organic proposal reaction is so incredible. This couple could not be ANY sweeter and after watching their proposal no one could deny it. Sagar was such a sweetheart and completely adores Rupali which makes our already fun job a total blessing.

Here is what you need to know about this marriage proposal. Sagar wanted to propose on the beach by incorporating special memories from their relationship; the plan was they would venture down to a beach to bury a time capsule Sagar gave Rupali for her birthday gift earlier that day. When they arrived he excused himself to the restroom which was how he was able to get mic’d before proposing. Walking along the shore, Sagar found the subtle “mark” in the sand. With the help of our wonderful Pap The Question photographer, Paul Rattay, six memorable items were hidden underneath the sand so when the couple knelt down to bury their time capsule, Rupali found special gifts for her instead. The gifts told the storyline of their relationship from the Pizza Hut box that said “Our last first date” to an email he wrote her during long distance. The last item was a journal. Rupali has her own private diary but he thought it was just about time they created their own journal together!

I have to say my favorite part is Sagar waiting on one knee for Rupali to say “yes!” and mentioning, after a long pause, “I still haven’t heard the answer.” It was so stinkin’ cute! Clearly he got the response he hoped for and the couple snuggled up to a picnic on the beach to celebrate (accompanied by a blanket, roses, Italian soda, and chocolate…just a few of her favorite things).

Congrats again Sagar and Rupali! Such a sweet proposal for an adorable couple! Enjoy your engagement!

Vendor Love: A big thank you to Video Madness and Pap the Question for capturing the proposal through film and photos. Priceless!
