We Say “Yes” Wednesday

 

Welcome back for another week of We Say Yes Wednesday! Tomorrow we are featuring a special and creative proposal with many thoughtful details. So this week we are saying Yes to spending a little extra time adding details to your proposal. When thinking of your proposal adding just one or two simple details will make it go from good to WOW!

Here are a few examples:

Add words on signs or objects that describe her.

Add her favorite flowers and food/dessert at the location.

If she loves pictures, have pictures of you two around the setting.

Invite her family and friends to jump out and surprise her after the proposal if they are really important to her.

Make the table cloth her favorite color. You can have her future initials embroidered into the cloth.

Add sparkle lights or candles to enhance the romantic feel.

Have your song playing in the background.

These little touches and more she will remember forever! One of my favorite parts of my marriage proposal was how Tommy had a box that he put a note in that represented all the notes he would leave for me by our bed in the years to come! He has already used the box several times. From a distance people probably did not notice the box, but it was one of my favorite touches.
