Can you believe Christmas is less than 10 days away?! If you are still looking to pop the question during the holiday season here are a few tips and ideas we highly suggest! If you are stuck on the HOW to propose part, we got you covered here.
1. Make it thoughtful
You might be feeling the pressure but you still can make it thoughtful and personalized for her. Consider 3 of her favorite things (i.e.: favorite Christmas tradition, flower, and holiday movie) and incorporate that into your proposal. Sometimes the smallest details speak the loudest.
2. Capture the proposal.
If you plan to pop the question on Christmas Day and a professional photographer isn’t an option, ask a family member to do it. It’s better to get it on film or camera, even if you aren’t 100% sure, because you can’t do it over!
3. Use your resources!
If you’re spending it with family then use them as a resource to create a ruse. If you want to surprise her at a special location, have a family member distract her since she will just think they want to spend time catching up while you’re visiting. If you are both extroverts, consider involving the family in the actual proposal whether it’s popping out of Christmas boxes or just standing by to cheer after she says “yes!”
4. Play off the Holiday season
Think about all the fun things you can do around Christmas- holiday lights, ice skating, decorating a Christmas tree, exchanging Christmas stockings, etc. and use that to create the perfect lead in for your fun and romantic proposal!
New Years and Valentine’s Day proposals are going to be popping up before we know it so plan ahead and get started on your proposal here! Whether your traveling or staying local, we can help personalize your proposal ideas. We can incorporate any ideas you have (if you don’t have any ideas, we gather helpful info anyways so no worries) while creating a memory that she has always dreamed about! We will give it that special female touch. Happy proposing!
