This Florida lighthouse marriage proposal was nothing short of amazing! Matt’s gal, Allison, has a deep love for lighthouses—so much so that she’s on a mission to visit every single one in the country. Together, she and Matt have been slowly checking them off their list, turning each visit into a cherished memory. Their next stop? A picturesque lighthouse in the panhandle of Florida—St. George Island Beach, to be exact!
Knowing how much Allison adores these historic beacons of light, Matt wanted to incorporate her passion into a proposal she would never forget. But he didn’t stop there—he also wanted to include another one of her favorite things: Edison bulb lights. With a clear vision in mind, we teamed up with an amazing lighting company just outside of Tallahassee that provided oversized Edison bulbs for rent. We designed a stunning wooden arch and suspended the glowing bulbs at its center, creating a warm and romantic ambiance.
To make the moment even more special, we lined the dock with calligraphy signs featuring the couple’s favorite Bible verses. As the sun set and the lighthouse cast its guiding glow, Matt asked Allison to be his forever. A perfect proposal in every way!
