High above the coastline, this Newport Beach balcony proposal turned a private hotel balcony into one of the most romantic spaces we have ever designed. With a grand floral arch, a petal aisle and the Pacific as the backdrop, Mark and Lauren’s moment felt timeless and modern all at once.

A Private Newport Beach Balcony Proposal Overlooking the Pacific
A hotel balcony is a beautiful option for couples who want privacy without giving up the view. That is why we designed this custom proposal to feel intimate, elegant and completely centered around their love story.

The Set Up
First, the centerpiece was a grand floral arch overflowing with luxe white roses, hydrangeas and cascading greenery, perfectly framing the ocean view. Then, hundreds of white rose petals created a dreamy aisle leading up to the arch.
In addition, layered candlelight, personal framed photos of the couple and elevated floral arrangements on white pedestals added a meaningful touch—and a bottle of champagne waited on ice for the celebration.

The Proposal
With a live violinist playing nearby, the proposal unfolded in the golden California sunshine. She covered her mouth in surprise as he asked the question, and jumped into his arms after saying “yes.”
Afterwards, they poured champagne, kept taking photos under the arch, and turned the balcony into the perfect spot to celebrate.

In the end, we designed every detail of this Newport Beach balcony proposal to feel elegant, emotional and personal, creating a breathtaking coastal engagement moment they will remember forever.
Congratulations to Mark & Lauren!

💍 FAQ
Can you set up a proposal on a hotel balcony?
Yes. Many hotels allow private balcony or suite setups. We coordinate with the hotel on access, setup timing and any guidelines.
Can we add live music to our proposal?
Absolutely. A violinist is one of our most-requested add-ons, and we coordinate the song and the timing so the music starts right on cue.
How do we add personal touches to the setup?
Framed photos, custom signage and meaningful details can all be added. Send us your favorite photos and we will take care of the rest.
What happens after the proposal?
We can plan the whole evening, from champagne and photos to dinner reservations nearby.
