Perched above SoHo, this One World Trade Center proposal was designed for Chris and Georgia with every detail in mind. A breathtaking floral arch, a candlelit aisle and sweeping skyline views made it the proposal of a lifetime.

A SoHo Rooftop Proposal with One World Trade Center Views
We worked closely with Chris so that every detail would be something Georgia would love. As a result, the whole rooftop felt romantic and completely personal.

Tips for Planning a New York Rooftop Proposal
First, plan around golden hour. The hour before sunset gives the skyline a soft glow, and the city lights begin to sparkle right after. In addition, a private rooftop keeps the moment just for the two of you, away from crowds and passersby.
Since New York weather can change quickly, it also helps to have a backup plan, such as a covered terrace or a flexible date. Finally, let a planner handle the logistics. For example, we coordinate rooftop access, setup, florals, music and timing, so you can simply focus on the question.

The Set Up
First, we built a floral arch overflowing with blush and ivory blooms, perfectly framing One World Trade Center. Then, we created a candlelit aisle covered in white rose petals leading to it.
In addition, a live violinist played with the skyline behind her, and champagne waited for the toast.

The Proposal
Georgia was completely surprised as she stepped onto the rooftop. Then Chris got down on one knee beneath the arch and asked the question.
Afterwards, the couple toasted with champagne and shared a kiss above Manhattan.

In the end, the intimate setting, elegant florals and thoughtful planning came together to create a moment the couple will cherish forever.
Congratulations to Chris & Georgia!
