Kendall, the writer of “We Say ‘Yes’ Wednesdays” is turning the big 2-5 today! Since she is a huge fan of do-it-yourself projects, I assembled some of my favorite and manageable DIY’s that anyone can make for upcoming birthdays, showers and engagement parties. If you are a busy bee like Ms. Kendall then these are the perfect projects for you too…personal touches in a flash. I hope you have an amazing birthday Kendall and find room in your agenda to enjoy time for yourself!

1. Streamer Table Setting from Martha Stewart. All you need is white table cloth, double sided tape, and colored streamers.

2. Go Together Like Milk and Cookies from Kara’s Party Ideas. This is one of Kendall’s favorite pairs and such a cute favor idea. Find a bulk of mason jars or any glass container and layer the cookie ingredients inside the jar.

3. Button Napkin Holders from Martha Stewart.

4. Circle Chandelier Streamers by Simply U Events/The Yes Girls. Use your favorite wrapping paper to create a window backdrop.

5. Cupcake Liner Pom Poms from Kara’s Party Ideas. I definitely plan on trying this out. Also, you can find a variety of ways to beautify cupcake liners at our friend Ashley’s blog Live Laugh Celebrate.

6. Yarn Chandelier from Ruffled Blog. With a balloon, yarn, corn starch, glue and water you can make your own modern chandelier.

Love,
