Think glam, vintage, and fashion. Imagine feathers, sparkle, and pretty red martinis. Peacock blues, silvers, grays, whites, blacks, with a pop of red was our muse. When we sat down to envision Kendall’s bridal shower, we knew it had to be uniquely Kendall. She can pull off any style, trend, and hair-do so we had various designs to weed through; I believe the ambience of old Hollywood complemented by Kendall’s silver sequined dress, red lips, and peacock hair clip was very “Kendall” and just so much fun!

All the guests wore their favorite black dress and enjoyed yummy passed hors d’oeuvres. We recruited Kendall’s brothers to pass the appetizers and bar tend (which was a personal but also budget-friendly touch). Red flowers and red flavored cocktails were used to bring in the subtle pop of red. For another fun DIY, Lindsay and I made small peacock hair clips for all her bridesmaids. One of her talented bridesmaids, Amber from Bambu Earth, created monogramed and handmade organic soaps for the favors which smell delectable.

Besides the dessert table adorned with a glamorous cake, cake pops, fudge and candies, one of my favorite things was the guestbook. Guests were asked to write what made Tommy and Kendall such a fabulous couple in a book with Hollywood’s best movie couples. It was one fun shower and more importantly, another memory to add to Kendall and Tommy’s marriage and future.
