Heather and Kristen met serendipitously after living parallel lives for years. They went to the same high school, Go Diablos! They’ve both been married for over ten years to pilots that happen to be in the Air Force previously and are now UPS pilots. Their kids are the same ages. They bonded quickly as they started juggling kids together on a weeknight to put a meal on the table and sit back with a glass of wine. They are entrepreneurs at heart that thrive on creating memorable experiences. Together they realized that their expertise combined to form something truly spectacular.
Heather has been a successful business owner for over 12 years planning authentic marriage proposals with memories that couples cherish forever. Her business savvy spirit realized years ago that no one in the market was specializing in this form of event planning. She took the idea, ran with it, and created The Yes Girls. Now she has a team creating beautiful proposals all over the country. As her business has evolved, her innovative spirit has launched concepts focused on relationship growth. She released a relationship planner last year, Schedule Me In. Her love of relationships and events is the reason we came to form YES Local centered around intimate gatherings that foster human connection. Heather’s ability to organize and create a seamless event with exceptional decor is second to none.
Kristen has spent over a decade in the wine industry. She has traveled extensively to the major regions around Europe personally visiting with various esteemed winemakers and vineyard managers. She’s worked in the major culinary cities of the U.S. coordinating wine dinners and portfolio shows. For years, she personally managed the imports of roughly twenty small family owned wineries from Europe and South America. Her passion for wine led her to become a certified wine expert via the Wine & Spirits Education Trust in NYC. Her roots are deep, her palate is complex, and her excitement for the industry continues to evolve and grow with time. She couldn’t be more excited to share this expertise with you.
