Flowers are a personal favorite of mine when it comes to dolling up a proposal or a wedding. Yes it would be loads of fun to have an endless budget but the reality is when it comes to planning an event, it’s best to choose flowers that are in season so you get the most bang for your buck. For instance, peonies usually cost $15 per stem but in the months of May and June (when they are in season) peonies drop down to $4-5 a stem! Another tip is to find look-a-likes. Garden roses can look remarkably similar to peonies which are closer to $2 a stem. Here are a few summer bouquets and pieces I adore with flowers that are in season aka afforable! Happy planning brides!
Pink garden roses bouquet from Wedding Bee, Carnations in Coffee Beans from The Knot, Orange Dahlias bouquet from Bouquet Wedding Flower, hydrangea bouquet from Style Me Pretty, Zinna pink and orange bouquet from Martha Stewart.
There are beautiful ways to spice up your event by remaining resourceful; selecting flowers in season is definitely in!
