So…I was OBSESSED with Lindsay’s bridal shower!! It was the perfect June day for Lindsay June’s shower. Since Lindsay first laid eyes on the stunning all white bridal decor in a 1998 Edition of Martha Stewart Bridal Magazine, she fell in love with weddings. If you were one of those little girls who dreamed about her wedding day and all the memorable events that surround your big day then you will understand just how overwhelmed Lindsay was when she walked into her dream bridal shower, completed with all white, classic decor. Still beyond all the lovely details was a WHOLE lot of love and a hilarious video (thanks to bridesmaid/friend Lydia’s editing skills); film was of all her bridesmaids playing the various characteristics that make up Lindsay. Good fun indeed!

A few more from my camera. Lots of laughter watching the video!
Our Favorite Elements From The Bridal Shower:
- Ordered the original Martha Stewart 1998 Edition for guests to write prayers and wishes for the bride-to-be in her first ever wedding magazine.
- Personalized “Lindsay June Shower Menu” with words of affirmation to describe each tasty item. Examples: Energetic Egg Souffle, Funny French Toast Bites, Radiant Red Velvet Cake, etc.
- Long rectangle white wooden boxes filled with peonies, hydrangeas, dusty miller and lisianthus covering the all white table settings.
- The guests used as part of the scenery, wearing all white
- All the bridal shower gifts wrapped in white
- Large white balloons as the backdrop to the gorgeous peony, red velvet cake.
- Martha Stewart quotes written on chalkboards at breakfast buffet (Lindsay’s favorite meal)
- Make your own mimosa station
- Pearl white gumballs for guest favors
- “I Do” flag drinking straws
Word’s From The Bride-To-Be:
What didn’t I love about my shower? I had dreamed about an all white bridal shower since I read my first issue of Martha Stewart weddings in 5th grade. Not only did my best friends all remember that, but they went above and beyond to make it more than I ever could have dreamed of. The details were impeccable. It was fancy! Everything from the outfits to the gifts were white. They incorporated the smallest details of who I am and what I love with Martha Stewart quotes on chalk boards, a gorgeous cake, a countdown because I used to make almost daily Christmas count downs, and even incorporated my love for chivari chairs and peonies. They knew I loved brunch so we had a brunch. They filled it with words of affirmation and so much laughter my sides still hurt. It was simply dreamy! One of my favorite days of my life. My friends are amazing!
