When I started thinking of designing my Save The Dates I knew I wanted them to be creative, DIY and not expensive. I had so many different ideas, but I am so happy with the final product!

Here is how I created it and what you’ll need!

1. Bought a Box of Doilies. 500 for $20.

2. Recruited some of my friends for a night of wine and Save the Dates

3. Purchased Painters tape, sticky circle magnets, card stock $40

4. One of my bridesmaids does graphic design on the side and she helped me pick out the picture and created the perfect circle of it. I helped her with the wording and she created the design at the bottom.

5. My friends, my mom and I took the painters tape and taped the corners of the doilie on the card stock.

6. My friend and I then fed the doilies on the card stock through the printer!

7. We then removed all the painters tape carefully and stuck the magnets on the back!

I wanted to carry the design onto the envelopes so this is how I did that:

200 8×8 Envelopes: $25

Purple Spray Paint and Silver Spray Paint

1. Take the doilie and place it on the corner on top of the envelope

2. Take a magazine and place the envelope with the doilie on top.

3. Put gloves on

4. Spray paint all around the doilie, give it a second to dry and lift the doilie off the envelope.

5. Write the name and address in the blank space on the envelope

6. I got the purple LOVE stamps to match the colors.

Stamps included, I spent around $200 total! I hope you enjoyed and are inspired to be creative!
