After becoming a Yes Girl and moving out of the college dorms (thank God for full-size apartments!) I have officially become a crafter! We have so many projects and DIYs for various proposals, but my favorite new thing to craft are door decorations. I made one last fall right before football season, and one again for Christmas, but I think I can honestly say that Spring’s Wreath is my favorite thus far. Please ignore the terribly beat up and scratched door that I live behind…
I am obviously a huge lover of University of Oklahoma’s football team and since my roommate is an alumni I created a wreath to cheer on our team (even though they didn’t do so hot this past season).
I found an old fake-evergreen wreath in my aunt’s attic, bought some fake berries and white lace and created a soft “romantic” wreath to celebrate Christmas!
For Spring I loved the idea of molding the harsh twigs with the soft, pearly flowers. Plus pastels are totally “in” right now so I painted a “WELCOME” sign mint-pearl and then tore off the letters from the sign and hot-glued them onto the wreath! I cannot stop staring at it, I just love it! (patting myself on the back for this one)
