As the leaves turn and a chill fills the air, imagine a Halloween-inspired proposal that blends romance with a touch of the eerie. Proposal Details
Natalie and Maddison’s relationship holds a special place for Halloween; the two met at a Halloween party, later became a couple, then fell in love, all surrounded by the romantic, yet eerie glow of the Halloween season. So when Natalie came to The Yes Girls wanting the perfect custom proposal for her love, we knew a ‘Til Death Halloween inspired proposal with just the right amount of spooky.
An aisle way of candle light and tall black lanterns illuminated the walk way to the down on one knee moment.
Resting among the soft light was a dynamic seasonal display of Marigolds, Rose petals, deep purple and black floral arrangements, and of course, pumpkins. And we cannot forget the precious custom details like this skeleton proposal figurine, also the perfect keepsake for Natalie and Maddison!
This proposal needed a focal point as true to the season as the proposal itself. Rather than placing blooms on a standard arch, The Yes Girls team created an arch of bare tree branches to frame the beautiful couple. Casting another glow, and hanging from the branch frame, were clear glass orbs.
The sun goes down, ‘Til Death marquee letters come up. Cue the perfect Halloween proposal!
Proposal Story
Natalie told Maddison the two had a reservation for a nice evening out, creating the perfect proposal ruse. She instead led her love secretly to their stunning proposal set up, all framed by the Southern California scenery.
She guided her love hand-in-hand down the Halloween inspired aisle way as an ode to their love for the holiday and the meaning it holds in their relationship, past, present, and future. The orange, purple, and black color scheme was the perfect ode to the season, all while including Maddison’s favorite color in an elevated style.
As they approached the focal point, Natalie got down on one knee and asked Maddison the most important question. She said “Yes!” Cue the fog machine for the most epic down on one knee photos.
The two continued their proposal story with a pumpkin head engagement shoot and a toast to forever love with custom champagne glasses wrapped in delicate velvet ribbon.
