Lauren’s parents got engaged on Christmas Eve, so Chart knew he wanted to propose to his girlfriend on the same day! He contacted us back in August to begin the process of planning the holiday marriage proposal and we were honored to be a part of this! In his questionnaire he told us that one of their goals as a couple is to continue “climbing the ladder of life together”, which instantly sparked my imagination of having a ladder display for the proposal! Chart also said, “My girlfriend, soon to be fiancée, and future wife was once an actual princess. Today she is the queen of my heart, and the woman that I love more than I can possibly express” in his questionnaire so we wanted to put that beautiful quote on display!
Lauren’s parents came into town for what she thought was just a Christmas celebration, and so they scheduled a horse-drawn carriage ride through Highland Park (the neighborhood in Dallas where Chart grew up). Then the carriage “stumbled upon” this gorgeous set up with lush white flowers and tons of rose gold accents (because Lauren’s favorite color is pink) in Flippen Park. After she said yes, more family members came out of hiding and surprised the couple before continuing onto dinner at the restaurant where the couple enjoyed their first date!
