Melissa is one of our closest friends and I could not be happier to share her proposal story on Love, The Yes Girls. Mike “tricked” Melissa into meeting a friend at the beach to take photos of Melissa’s friends engagement. Little did she know, she was arriving for her own! A few words from the bride-to-be, Melissa:
One of my most favorite characteristics about Mike is how thoughtful he is. I know that he really considered how to make our proposal personal and meaningful. There were so many people involved and a lot of planning to pull it all off. I am so excited about our life together and to go to all the places we’ve dreamed of exploring together.
My favorite part of the proposal was having Julie, my friend and amazing pro photographer, there to capture it all. He knows how much I love photography and really did great in incorporating that into our engagement. After I said “yes” we prayed together and then had a few moments to be thankful for getting to spend the rest of our lives together.
They are just so in love! You are such a blessing to each other and to us!
