1. I love businesses that also give back. Heather found this website that we said we definitaly needed to blog about for Wednesday. It’s called Goodshop by Goodsearch. You type in your charity of choice, they verify it and then you choose from a wide variety of stores. Then 30% of whatever you buy goes to your charity of choice when you make a purchase. Great idea…let’s try this everyone!

2. Fabric Wraps. Reusable fabric that when you wrap a gift and give it, the next person can reuse it. The blog Chewing the Cud sells them for $12.00 and they have three different sayings on them: Give Luck, Give Love, Give Joy!

3. Habitat Restore. My Roommate brought home the most amazing door panels the other day that we use on either side of our couch as a decorative piece. We are going to add black and white pictures to the clear panels and I bought cabinet lights that we put at the bottom, so it lights up all the panels. Besides loving the panels, I was even more excited when she told me where they were from; the Habitat Restore and she got them for $25. Most stores focus on home improvement goods-furniture, home accessories and building materials. Any goods that are bought there help to fund future Habitat Projects. You can also make donations.
