A tropical vacation to Hawaii is already the perfect getaway—but for one couple, it is their beginning to forever. While she thought they were simply escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life to enjoy the sun, sand, and island breeze, her boyfriend had a heartfelt surprise planned that would top off their trip in the most unforgettable way. With the help of The Yes Girls, her dream proposal is set in this tropical oasis, with every detail involved.
The couple was staying on the island for a relaxing vacation, enjoying everything from scenic beach days to oceanfront dining. But unbeknownst to her, he had partnered with The Yes Girls to craft a completely custom proposal experience that would sweep her off her feet. He originally said they had dinner reservations at the elegant Grand Wailea Resort. As they were strolling hand in hand down the property’s lush garden paths, she was completely unsuspecting.
As they turned a corner, they stumbled into what looked like a secret garden tucked away in paradise. A private oasis bursting with lush pink blooms, soft candlelight, and the peaceful sounds of nature all around. The moment felt almost too beautiful to be real. Her heart began to race as she noticed the intentionality of every flower and every detail… and realized something incredibly special was about to happen.
The Proposal
Leading her to the center of the garden, holding hands, he began to speak from the heart. Telling her all the reasons he loves her and recounting every beautiful moment of their relationship leading up to this special moment. Surrounded by beauty and love, he slowly dropped to one knee and pulled a stunning diamond ring from his pocket. With a voice full of love and intention, he asked the question she’d been dreaming of: “Will you marry me?”
Overcome with emotion, she said yes! Through happy tears, her hands flying to her face as the joy of the moment washed over them. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect! The sun was just beginning to dip into the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the garden. Golden hour lit up the palm trees and shimmered across the ocean, making this once-in-a-lifetime moment feel like a scene from a romance movie.
