I love a good party, especially when the bride-to-be doesn’t know it’s coming. Since we shared all about Tommy and Kendall’s engagement, I figured why not show you how the night ended? After Tommy’s proposal to Kendall, we jetted over to Kendall’s aunt’s house in Laguna Beach where all their close friends and family gathered for their engagement party. Kendall’s mom, Carole Holiday, handled all the decorations and florals, which were of course incredible. For engagement parties, you don’t have to go overboard with the food. Both families brought desserts and wine which was perfect. Gentlemen, take notes from Tommy, engagement parties after the proposal are a definite yes!

The little personal touches, such as their penguin cupcakes (they love penguins) are so worth it. As you plan an engagement party, think of unique, personal details you can incorporate for the couple. Of course, nothing beats just being surrounded by family and friends. Who doesn’t like a good party?
