Hopefully this post makes your day a bit sweeter! I know my sweet tooth is kicking in. Pastry chefs have set the bar high for dessert bars but the best part is many are kind enough to share their secret on how-to create these adorable bite size desserts! I included the Pie Pops recipe below from Bakerella, who in my opinion is a complete genius when it comes to utter deliciousness. Weddings and engagement parties just got sweeter!

If you prefer organic ingredients or have any guests allergic to gluten, a dessert bar is a perfect option. Instead of one cake from a single batter, you can offer a tray of gluten-free cupcakes or find a baker who uses all natural ingredients like Sweet Sin bakery in Baltimore.

Recipe: Easy As Pie by Bakerella

  • Scoop pie filling onto dough
  • Top with another dough circle
  • Pinch and seal dough
  • Glaze with egg whites
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees
