When I think of Washington, D.C., I think of history, and I think most of us do. So this is a perfect city for those that always were on top of their A game in History class, or just love the pretty scenery, because that in itself is a winner.

Catherine actually suggested us to her boyfriend, Francis; so when he called us he had some pretty big expectations of our work! In his questionnaire, Francis said that he knew he wanted to marry Catherine one night while they sat on a porch swing just talking and watching the sunset. Seriously dreamy moment and we knew it was our perfect inspiration. We had a custom wooden swing created with their wedding monogram and the proposal date, then we laced that with tons of beautiful florals. Additionally, we took all of their dream vacation places and put them on atlas paper airplanes and in a bucket to create a literal “travel bucket list”. To top off the garden, whimsical feeling of the proposal we had three window frames with lyrics to their couple song and a musician playing the song in the background. (Yes, “Die A Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett was stuck in my head for a solid month while we planned this proposal.) After she said yes, Catherine’s family came out and surprised her – I love the picture below when she sees them for the first time :)

Cliff and Jennifer recently traveled to Hawaii and had the trip of a lifetime. On this trip, Cliff knew he wanted to make Jennifer his wife and have vacations like that one forever! For their proposal, we brought the Hawaiian vibes to Las Vegas. Palm fronds, orchids, floral leis, tiki torches, and oversized paper flowers in Jennifer’s favorite color helped to set the mood. Since most of their relationship has been long distance, FaceTime has played a significant role in their time together. So, while they were at dinner Cliff “went to the bathroom” and snuck up to the roof. When he was ready, he FaceTimed Jennifer and told her to join him upstairs. Then, when she arrived she saw this beautiful display (complete with stuffed animals she had given him in the past and an iPad that was FaceTiming her family back him) and voila!
