Michael planned the perfect getaway for him and his sweetheart, Whitney. Michael figured a long weekend getaway would add some spontaneity to their relationship. Whitney excitedly agreed and within a week they were off to Cabo San Lucas.
The beach is always a gorgeous proposal setting, and it is clearly Whitney’s favorite place in the world, so The Yes Girls helped Michael create a beach proposal that was head over heals romantic. After spending the day snorkeling, Michael told her he made reservations for dinner so she would get dolled up. That evening while Whitney was getting ready, he excused himself to get more ice for their room but really it was an excuse to leave the room. However, before he left he placed a note on the bed which asked her to meet him downstairs when she finished getting ready.
A concierge was downstairs to escort Whitney to meet Michael who stood waiting on the shore. A pink blanket accompanied by a personalized book was laying next to Michael. She sat down with Michael and began reading her book- a complete fairytale story about their relationship including, photos, letters from the mutual friends that brought them together, places they’ve been even from their first dance together in high school. The last page of the book was left blank for her to add photos and the letter from that night. Before Michael popped the question, he had one more romantic act up his sleeve. A guitarist came up from behind and start serenading her fav Lady Antebellum song to them in the middle of the beach. Amazing! He sweetly asked her to dance during the serenade and at the end of the song, he dropped to one knee and asked Whitney to be his wife. The musician even gave them a copy of the song he sang as a happy engagement and to use for their wedding day first dance!
Congrats Michael and Whitney. May you have a blessed marriage!
Love,
