Today we are featuring Brian and Marilou’s proposal, thanks to our mutual friend Melissa. Brian’s proposal was thought out from start to finish and without spoiling the story, it paid off!
Once upon a time…(it’s only necessary to start this way) Marilou woke up in San Diego, California to a beautiful new dress her boyfriend, Brian gave her “just to be nice.” They spent the day in Harbor Village where the dined at the waterfront restaurant Harbor House. While eating dinner she was in for her second surprise. Brian explained, “Marilou and I have a ‘Cinderella’ story in how we came together. After dinner and dessert I presented her with glass slippers to see if they would fit… they did!!” Now his Cinderella had a new dress and shoes, the only thing she was missing was her carriage. Brian does not disappoint. A horse-drawn carriage pulled up behind her for their ride around downtown San Diego. While on the carriage ride, Brian noted that in the story of Cinderella, the prince marries her, which is of course when he asked Marilou to be his wife! It clearly was not difficult for this Cinderella to say “Yes!” And they lived happily ever after…
