It’s all about the details! This is what makes girls hearts melt. We shared Chris and Jaime’s marriage proposal in Rome last week, but I wanted to zoom in on the details to show how it truly made a picnic in Tivoli go from cute to “WOW!” If you haven’t already, you can read their whole proposal story and see all the beautiful pictures in Rome.
Envelope #1: His aunt, a gifted artist, hand painted a frame that shared inside jokes and a found memory. Recognize those names NY152 and Shopgirl? It’s from one of the best romantic comedies You Got Mail, which was the first movie Chris and Jaime watched together 7 years ago! Gentlemen, take advantage of any resources you have to add the little touches.
Envelope #2: Where they met! He wrote a letter as if it were from Match.com to prepare her for the video he put together, which consisted of him and her family sharing all the amazing things about Jaime and why they loved Chris and her together.
Envelope #3: He printed out a menu from their first date together.
Envelope #4: Jaime’s ultimate love (besides Chris of course) is ice cream. He made her a gelato coupon so he could treat her to one of her favorite things. So thoughtful! 
All the surprise filled envelopes were hidden inside this fabulous Italian linen, which went superbly with their picnic theme proposal! The champagne, fruit and paninis were flavorful additions for her dream picnic.
