Last weekend, Kendall, our moms, and I, accompanied by soon-to-be-bride Melissa, spent an early Sunday morning at the Santa Monica Flea Market feasting our eyes upon all the vintage, chic accessories. Pretty much anything girly we stopped to imagine the possibilities for weddings and engagements. We were all so inspired by the affordable pieces of pure prettiness that we thought we would share a few items we found.  Thanks Melissa for taking photos and I love the goodies you found for your wedding! If you have an event or wedding coming up, I encourage you to check out flea markets in your area. We had way too much fun!

There were various choices for ceremony backdrops from old wooden shutters to glass bottles in crates. We immediately envisioned the large glass vases used in a rustic, vineyard wedding. Now that’s a statement. You could easily add some color in the vases too.  Kendall snagged herself about a dozen vintage frames. So many uses for frames; whether they’re hanging from trees, used for props in engagement photos or strategically placed for seating charts, you can’t go wrong.

Already envisioning how we will decorate the “Yes Girls” office. Oh how we love chandeliers.

How cute would it be to use the bottom of that vintage dress to doll up a cupcake table? Melissa found adorable chalk boards to write her menu and seating chart for guests. It’s going to be a gorgeous outdoor wedding in Washington. We also found another option for a ceremony alter backdrop, a rustic door. Just adorn the crates and door with a few flowers and you’re have an amazing setting.

It was a day with the gals well spent!
