American Idol star and country singer, Kellie Pickler said “yes” to songwriter boyfriend, Kyle Jacobs on June 15th. Pickler was excited, to say the least, when Jacobs popped the question. She described the proposal as a moment she hardly could have imagined. Jacobs got down on one knee at sunset on the beach in Florida, however he did not stop there. His detailed plans included a blanket, champagne and candles awaiting the couple after the proposal and a romantic stroll on the beach. “Afterward, we just held each other and had the most beautiful prayer,” Jacobs says. “We had a little champagne and talked and laughed and cried.” Pickler later told PEOPLE, “Kyle took away all my fear of marriage and has shown me the way love is supposed to be.” Her engagement ring is a brilliant 2 carats round cut center stone, surrounded by a halo of pave diamonds and is estimated around $15,000.
