There’s something magical about New York City. It’s energy, its lights, and the way love seems to sparkle just a little brighter against the skyline. For one sweet couple, NYC became the backdrop for the most unforgettable chapter of their love story. With the help of The Yes Girls, he brought his now fiancé’s dream proposal to life from start to finish. Designing every detail to reflect their unique relationship and her favorite things—especially the color pink!
The Details
The proposal took place on an exclusive rooftop overlooking the iconic New York City skyline. In a city that never stops moving, finding a private, serene moment like this one is a rare gem. The breathtaking view stretched across the skyline, creating the perfect contrast to the intimate and romantic setting we designed just for them. It was the kind of space where the world seems to pause. Just long enough for something truly beautiful to happen.
Knowing pink is her favorite color, we infused every detail with soft and vibrant pink tones to create an elegant and feminine vibe. From blush-toned linens to custom pink signage, everything was thoughtfully curated to make the moment feel personal. But one of our favorite touches was a series of pink globes! Each one highlighting a country the couple had traveled to over the years. Next to each globe, were framed photos of the two of them in that location, laughing, exploring, and making memories. Undoubtedly, it was a romantic nod to their incredible journey together, both literally and emotionally.
The pièce de résistance? The florals. These were some of the most lush and luxurious blooms we’ve ever seen. Aisleway florals in varying shades of pink and white, and a stunning asymmetrical floral arch served as the main focal point. The arch felt like a piece of art—so full, layered, and dreamy, it looked straight out of a fairytale. It was the kind of installation that takes your breath away before a word is even spoken.
The Proposal
As he got down on one knee, she was completely taken by surprise. Her expression turned from awe to pure emotion as he asked her to marry him. And of course—she said yes! Just moments later, a group of their closest friends joined them on the rooftop to celebrate, bringing even more love and energy to the already unforgettable night! There was laughter, tears, champagne toasts, and the unmistakable magic of two people stepping into forever.
We are so incredibly happy for this amazing couple and their beautiful love story. Altogether, being a part of this day was truly an honor. It’s proposals like these that remind us why we do what we do! With city skylines and globe-spanning memories, every detail came together perfectly, and love was absolutely in the air in New York City.
