There’s something undeniably dreamy about Catalina Island, and for this picture-perfect proposal, the island absolutely showed off. The weather could not have been more perfect—clear skies, gentle ocean breeze, and warm golden light that made the entire moment feel straight out of a fairytale. It was the ideal backdrop for a heartfelt, intimate proposal overlooking the sparkling Avalon Bay.
Our team designed a full romantic picnic set for two beneath a stunning floral arch—one of our lush, sustainable FAUX Ever Collection creations that we transported all the way to the island. This arch is one of our favorites for a reason: overflowing with soft blush and ivory blooms, it created a naturally romantic frame for the big moment while still allowing the iconic Catalina coastline to shine. Underneath it, we laid out a cozy blanket layered with soft textures, lanterns, and candles to complete the ambiance.
To elevate the experience even more, we prepared a beautifully curated charcuterie spread and sparkling cider for the couple to enjoy after the proposal. It added the perfect touch of indulgence and made the moment feel like a true celebration—just the two of them savoring delicious bites, ocean views, and the magic of this life-changing day.
One of the most special elements? A live violinist, who played all of her favorite songs as they approached the setup. The music floated through the ocean air, adding emotion, anticipation, and just a touch of movie-moment magic. Every note made the reveal even more romantic, and you could feel how deeply meaningful it was to them both.
The Proposal
When he finally took her hand and led her under the arch, everything slowed down. They held each other close, soaking up the moment before he got down on one knee.
